About Clarksburg Skatepark at Ovid Hazen Wells Park
Ovid Hazen Wells Skatepark, officially named Clarksburg Skatepark at Ovid Hazen Wells Park, is a 12,000-square-foot concrete skatepark in Montgomery County, Maryland. Designed and built by Spohn Ranch, the park was created for skateboarders, inline skaters, scooter riders, and BMX riders of all skill levels. The layout combines a mellow tiered peanut-shaped bowl with a flowing street section featuring quarter pipes, radius wedges, banks, rails, ledges, and a stair set with handrail and grind ledge. Additional obstacles include a volcano jump, euro gap, rainbow rail, flat bar, slappy curb, and kinked round rail, creating a mix of transition and technical street lines.
