About Driggs Skatepark

Known locally as 5th Street Skatepark, this facility in the Teton Basin represents a unique, multi-phase community project blending custom concrete and modular wooden elements. The park originally began with a 3,600-square-foot concrete slab featuring bowled corners and wooden quarter-pipes, an effort spearheaded by the local Teton Valley Skateclub. The concrete work, executed by Kevin Johnson and Dreamland Skateparks, is noted for its glassy smoothness and perfectly machine-bent 2.25-inch round steel coping. Subsequent expansions introduced deep pool-style vertical terrain, including a progressive clicker bowl with depths ranging from 5 to 10 feet and a tight pocket extending two feet past vert, making it a highly specific hybrid build to document within the archive.
