Elmhurst Skatepark

Elmhurst Skatepark is located in York Commons Park and serves as a community skate facility with a mixed transition/street setup. Core elements include ten ramps, two rails, a half pipe, a bowl, a pyramid, and a skate bench. The skatepark is unsupervised and use is at your own risk. Safety gear is required: skaters must wear helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards; bikers must wear all listed gear except wrist guards. Use is prohibited after 11 PM. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Food, drink, and gum must be consumed outside the skatepark. Drugs, alcohol, and smoking are prohibited. Appropriate language/behavior is required, and tagging/graffiti/stickers are not allowed. Skating in wet conditions is prohibited, and users should observe skate etiquette for shared safety. Broken equipment or unsafe conditions should be reported to the Park District Administrative Office at 375 W. First Street, or by phone at (630) 993-8900.
