Ingleside Skate Park
About Ingleside Skate Park
The Ingleside Skate Park is a 15,000-square-foot concrete facility built above ground due to a high water table, resulting in a raised berm approximately nine feet above the surrounding ground. The park features two distinct bowls: an Amoeba Bowl with pool coping and tile, ranging from 6 feet deep with 6 inches of vert to a 10-foot deep end with a foot of vert, including an 8-foot bonus pocket; and a Flow Bowl, described as a mix of a pool and a pipe, varying from 4 to 8 feet deep with an over-vert pocket, three entry channels, a step-up pocket, and a waterfall. The walls around the flow bowl extend to prevent boards from the street course from entering. The street course offers a variety of elements including hubba ledges, rails, grind boxes, stairs, a funbox, a big hip, and a pyramid with a rail, designed for logical flow. The entire facility is enclosed by fencing, and the concrete work is noted for being fast and grippy. The park is equipped with lights for evening use.
