Kennelly Skate Park
About Kennelly Skate Park
Kennelly Skate Park is Piedmont's primary outdoor concrete skate facility, within the Coaches Field recreation area. From the Red Rock Road lot, walk across the baseball field to the gated skate area adjacent to Coaches Field along Moraga Avenue. The compact layout features a tuning-fork bowl, a snake run that runs slightly uphill, small pyramids, and grind rails. Often described as beginner-friendly because of its scale, though some transitions are steep. The site is strictly monitored; all skaters must wear helmets and full protective gear (knee and elbow pads). Entry is free. Seasonal hours follow the city schedule and can change with the school calendar; the park may close for inclement weather or smoky air-quality days.
