About Milton Commons Skatepark
Milton Skate Park (officially Milltown Commons Skatepark) is an 11,000-square-foot concrete facility that opened to the public in May 2004. Located at the intersection of Milton Way and 23rd Avenue in Milton, Washington, it is known for its demanding transition terrain and is considered a classic example of early-2000s Pacific Northwest concrete skatepark design.
The centerpiece is a 7,000-square-foot horseshoe-shaped bowl with depths ranging from approximately 4 to 9 feet. Notable features include tight transitions, an over-vertical clamshell, a bowl doorway gap often referred to as a 'death doorway,' and extensive use of real pool coping throughout the bowl.
The remaining 3,000 square feet consist of a street section featuring a large bank wall, china banks, ledges, rails, and a manual pad.
The park is known for its fast lines, quick transition changes, and heavy use of pool coping, creating a challenging riding experience that rewards speed, flow, and quick reactions.
