Northwest Modular Skate Park
About Northwest Modular Skate Park
The Northwest Modular Skate Park (10201 Coors Bypass NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico) is an outdoor public facility blending poured concrete with modular ramp sections. A late-2025 renovation swapped in newer modular pieces with smoother fasteners, rounded edges, and harder-wearing decks. The setup suits skateboarders, BMX riders, and inline skaters across levels. Notable pieces include a ~3-foot quarter pipe and ~5-foot half bowls, plus street-oriented obstacles such as a fun box, flat bars, and curve grind rails. Overall the layout is roughly half concrete and half modular. Seasonal hours track daylight: May–August 7:00 AM–11:00 PM; September–April 9:00 AM–10:00 PM. Helmets are mandatory for anyone under 18; knee and elbow pads are strongly recommended. Motorized vehicles (including e-bikes and scooters) are not allowed on the skating surface. Amenities include free parking, benches, and shaded picnic areas. Visitors occasionally report litter or broken glass near the lot—bringing a trash bag helps. It is a handy casual session on the Westside; riders wanting larger concrete bowls sometimes prefer Los Altos Park.
