About Olympus Park Skatepark

Located within Olympus Park at 701 Olympus Street in Encinitas, California, this compact concrete skatepark opened in May 2021 as part of a 3.1-acre neighborhood recreation park. Designed and built by Wormhoudt, the facility emphasizes flow, accessibility, and transition skating over large street obstacles. Its signature feature is an avocado-style keyhole mini-bowl ranging from approximately 3 to 5 feet deep, paired with a compact snake run that encourages continuous carving lines. Smooth roll-ins, mellow transitions, banks, rails, ledges, and a small volcano feature make the park approachable for beginners while still offering creative lines for experienced skaters. The facility is unlit and operates from dawn to dusk, with helmets required for use.
