Peach Plaza Skate & Action Park
About Peach Plaza Skate & Action Park
Peach Plaza Skate & Action Park is a thoughtfully designed outdoor concrete facility that blends street and transition-style skating. The initial phase features a multi-level plaza concept, characterized by its layout which creates natural speed lines and diverse obstacle approaches. It includes street-skating elements such as multiple sets of stairs, an eight-stair set with a hubba ledge and handrail, various ledges, a flat bar, a 'c' ledge, an out ledge, and quarter pipes. The later addition of the James R. Peach Bowl and a snake run introduces significant vert and transition skating elements, with the snake run offering beginner-friendly mellow transitions that gradually deepen. The use of concrete ensures durability and a smooth riding surface, and its location within Twin Lakes Park allows it to benefit from existing community infrastructure.
