Wardlaw Skate & Bike Park

The architectural approach of Wardlaw Skate Park is one of integrated, community-driven design. The park's layout facilitates a back-and-forth flow with a quarter pipe and a flat bank flanking a central funbox. The use of both a multi-lobed concrete bowl, approximately 8 feet deep with coping and fun corners, and a slab area with modular ramps provides a variety of textures and experiences for riders. The multi-lobed design of the bowl offers a more dynamic and less monotonous ride than a simple round bowl. The inclusion of designated beginner and intermediate areas demonstrates a thoughtful approach to user experience and safety.
