About Wilson Skate Park

Wilson Skate Park is a thoughtfully designed outdoor concrete facility that maximizes its footprint to offer a comprehensive skating experience, seamlessly integrating a variety of street and transition elements. The park features two distinct bowls: a large, flowing bowl with hips and a spine designed for speed, air, transfers, and complex maneuvers, and a classic kidney-shaped or 'amoeba' bowl with traditional concrete pool coping for an old-school pool-skating experience. The expansive street course is laid out in a logical progression, offering obstacles of varying difficulty including stairs with hubba ledges, multiple grind rails and ledges, a central funbox, a pyramid structure, and quarter pipes of varying heights for launching and stalling. The design encourages a continuous 'flow' for skaters, with concrete as the primary building material ensuring longevity and a consistent riding surface. The overall aesthetic is one of modern, functional design that prioritizes the user experience, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for the skateboarding community.
